The Solar Car Challenge

The Solar Car Challenge is designed to motivate students in science, engineering, and alternative energy. Students learn how to design, engineer, build, and race roadworthy solar cars. It is a year long challenge to design and build solar cars with the end goal either being closed track race at Texas Motor Speedway or a cross country race.

Throughout the year we work to build a solar powered car. We divide into group based on interest of the people. Each group has their own section to work on ranging from telemetry to welding.
