THE SOLAR CAR CHALLENGE    

    

The Solar Car Challenge is designed to motivate students in science, engineering, and alternative energy. Our cars are 100% student built where they learn and apply how to design, engineer, build, and race roadworthy solar cars. It is a year-long challenge to design and build solar cars with the end goal either being closed track race at Texas Motor Speedway or a cross country race.
